Studio Easel

Finally finished a new easel so I can muck around with bigger stuff. All from salvaged material, which explains the imperfections in the timber, with knobs turned from a bit of red gum burl donated by a friend!

Ken's new bench

After years of living in an apartment, K & D have moved into a house again, so to mark the occasion I thought I'd get rid of some old construction hardwood cluttering up the boatshed, by building a new workbench for their garage.

Don't ask me what species the timber is, but it's quite hard, and looks lovely at the moment in its new wax livery. Can't wait to see the first scratch appear!
